Today, on his 3rd assassination attempt, Nero finally murdered me. On his first attempt, he sent me out into the ocean on a boat that would sink, but I was able to swim ashore. Another attempt included poisoning me and making my roof collapse (gratefully, my loyal servants told me). On his final attempt, of which killed me, he hired assassins, who came and killed me. Thank you, Nero, for being so kind. Remember who brought you into this world. YOU took her out of it.

Today, Nero has forced me out of the palace. He believes I am trying to take his power, but I was only trying to help him! He is not of age to rule the Roman Empire by himself! I was the one who made him emperor, and now he treats me like this? How ashamed I am of him!

Today is a day of mourning. Claudius has been sent to the Hospitable One in the Underworld. My husband of 3 years, and also a beloved uncle. Word has spread that I killed him. That I poisoned him. Rest in Peace, Dear Claudius. I am very sorry.

NERO IS NOW EMPEROR!

Today, Claudius has adopted Nero, my son, as his heir! All of my begging has turned into glory! I can see my child now, emperor of Rome. Nero, son of Agrippina the Younger, ruling Rome. Praise the gods! If only I could see Nero as emperor sooner...

Praise the gods! Today, the Senate gave word that allows Claudius and I to marry! We will marry on the first of the year 49 AD! What joys the gods bring to us!

In Roman law, it is allowed for widows to remarry. In my lifetime, I have remarried once (so far). My first husband and also the biological father of Nero, Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus, was killed in battle. I waited a short period for morning before I married my second husband, Passienus Crispus. He has now passed, and I have waited my mourning period. It is illegal in Roman Society for an uncle to marry his niece, so Claudius and I may not wed. I am awaiting an answer from the Senate.

My father died today. He was poisoned. We are certain Tiberius has something to do with his death. My father was growing "too powerful." Rest in peace, Germanicus.
