In Roman law, it is allowed for widows to remarry. In my lifetime, I have remarried once (so far). My first husband and also the biological father of Nero, Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus, was killed in battle. I waited a short period for morning before I married my second husband, Passienus Crispus. He has now passed, and I have waited my mourning period. It is illegal in Roman Society for an uncle to marry his niece, so Claudius and I may not wed. I am awaiting an answer from the Senate.

    For I am Claudius and I think I shall have a say in this because I am the Roman Emperor in Rome, I have power! For I agree with Andronicus and what she has to say! Evan though a little part of me says that it really is a wrong doing to marry my niece... But like I said I still agree with Andronicus and her say!
